Full-time Overview:
Franklin Primary Health Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our patient care teams in Evergreen, AL. In this full-time role, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality care by coordinating clinical services, engaging patients, and assisting providers in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Participate in daily care team huddles and initiate pre-visit planning workflows
– Provide assessments for walk-in patients and triage based on urgency
– Take and document vital signs, patient histories, medication reconciliation, and chief complaints
– Prepare exam rooms and patients for exams and procedures
– Administer medications and initiate standing orders per FPHC protocols
– Assist providers with treatments, exams, injections, EKGs, and other procedures
– Respond to emergencies and maintain crash cart, oxygen tanks, narcotics box, and IV cart
– Track labs, referrals, and diagnostic tests to ensure timely follow-up
– Engage patients in health education, self-management, and care planning
– Maintain cleanliness, organization, and supply levels in clinical areas
– Participate in quality improvement activities and monitor performance metrics
– Perform venipuncture and basic lab tests as needed
– Provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
– Diploma or graduate of an accredited nursing program
– Current Alabama LPN license required
– CPR certification required
– Minimum one year of clinical experience preferred
– Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
– Valid driver’s license
Work Schedule & Pay:
Full-time | Monday–Friday | Day shift | $20–$25 per hour
