Full-time Overview:
Franklin Primary Health Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our Hadley location in Mobile, AL. In this full-time role, you’ll provide direct patient care in a clinical setting while supporting daily operations and maintaining a professional and compassionate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Participate in care team huddles and pre-visit planning
– Greet, register, and assist patients, visitors, and staff professionally
– Maintain confidentiality and patient privacy at all times
– Interview patients and record demographic and screening data
– Collect and update patient information (pharmacy, providers, etc.)
– Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, BP, height, and weight
– Prepare patients and exam rooms for procedures
– Collect specimens (urine, stool) for lab analysis
– Administer patient screening questionnaires and record responses
– Assist with exams, procedures, and treatments
– Maintain accurate documentation of care, calls, and referrals
– Schedule appointments and help manage clinic flow
– Respond to patient inquiries within scope of CNA role
– Report changes in patient condition to nurses or providers
– Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families
– Organize and stock exam and supply rooms
– Participate in care team quality improvement initiatives
– Maintain CPR certification and attend required training
– Keep reception and clinical areas clean and orderly
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or GED required
– Active CNA certification in Alabama preferred
– Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
– Prior clinical or healthcare experience preferred
– Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
– Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Work Schedule & Pay:
Full-time | Monday–Friday | Day shift | $15.00–$17.00 per hour
